I think I managed to include what is becoming the Woolfverse go-to Foreign Phrase. I am amused that it has one in the first place. This is sometime in the mid-90s, when they've just moved in together.

Hornblower!Woolfverse, discussion of favourite plays. It feels kind of OOC, but idkkkkkkk it's kind of been a while. Sort of.

Filling in a missing scene that Pelly pointed out needed to be filled. This story owes much to Better for Trying (which continues to be the single best story I've read in this fandom so far), if only for worming "To Althea, From Prison" into the front of my mind for the first time in a long time.
I am not satisfied with the ending at this point, but I don't know how to make it work right. :/

On 20 February 2007, Gruffudd also said he is planning to make a big-screen version of Hornblower, and is attempting to gain the rights to the books by C.S. Forester. He was quoted as saying "A&E decided that since it's such an expensive venture to make these movies for television, they're not going to make any more at this point. So it's down to me, I think, to try to bring it back to life."

But since Shit Would Be Going Down at that point in time, it's basically impossible and free from all logic. :/ Also, I tried not to write it in present tense, but I couldn't keep it from happening, so I said fuck it, this will be a story in present tense.
