Like you thought I wouldn't start writing an elaborate world of Singin' in the Rain nextgen fanfic. Set in 1937, three of their eventual four children have shown up, and one of them stars here. Rose attempts to turn her father and uncle into proper jump-ropers.

Okay, let's admit it. Upon thinking in the morning, I was far more satisfied with this than I was last evening when I finished it. >> Consider it a section of story in the epic Singin' in the Rain universe [personal profile] pitseleh and I have been planning aloud like the gigantic dorks we are. I can't believe it's almost 1000 words; this is turning into good practice for Yuletide. Actually, it's good practice for a lot of things; I'm so bad at certain aspects of writing, oh, my Goddddd. >>;;
