I'm glad you liked it so well! ♥ It all just kind of poured out, and I tried not to get in the way. Granby's had an incredibly tough couple of months. I imagine it'll take him a while to process exactly what effect all the changes--losing an arm, coming out under duress, putting his foot down with Iskierka--are going to mean for him from this point onwards. But the process of figuring out where he stands now probably starts pretty early.
I have to admit, my entire conception of Little is based on "what kind of a boyfriend would Granby need?" ("Boyfriend" being used loosely here--I imagine they're not strictly exclusive or inclined towards professions of ~*~undying love forever~*~ or anything. But they're very good, close friends, and part of that is a physical relationship that they both find satisfying.) And he'd have to be someone patient but not willing to take BS, someone who can share Granby's sense of humour...someone Granby can rely on and speak freely with. And since all my favourite ships have a strong friendship at their base, that makes them very easy to write this way. ^^;
...I'm sorry, I have Gay Spock Effect something awful with Granby. Now that I know he's canonically gay, he's suddenly really interesting to me and more relatable than he was. So, um, tl;dr for you? Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the story, it was really great to write. Possibly I'll do more later.
