I'm still working on that giganticass character survey thing for Promise, and I have a half-written bit of fic about Promise and Cherish that I tried to do on the plane yesterday (WHICH WAS HARD BECAUSE DAD WAS RIGHT THERE AND EVEN IF HE WASN'T READING IT THAT WAS DISTRACTING), and hopefully I'll get both those done eventually. thereoncewas pointed out how Niko-has-allergiiiiies is used as a one-off line in canon and never mentioned again. And I am inclined to agree with her that this is a great waste. So I unwasted it.
Insert self-deprecating whining about how my ability to write Cal has seriously deteriorated and how I really wish I knew what boxes my TCLS books were packed in so I could pull them out and reread (though I'm six hours away from them right now anyway, so >>).
( turns out the Kin is just like the Mafia in more ways than one. )
