Doing the meme for Promise. Really fucking slowly because I AM TIRED and should be going to bed. >> I'll finish it later.
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Fairly average height--probably around 5'8", iirc? A veritable giant given when she was born, though. :D As far as build goes, she's...fit? She's hardly musclebound or anything, but she's got some serious physical ability going on--yayyyyy, vampires.
2. How old is she?
In the seven-hundreds range. The implication so far is that the teenage years and adulthood stretch out for vampires, but I'm still curious as to whether that's true for vampire children. Terrible twos that last five years, I ask you. XD Next time Thurman has an open-question post, I've gotta remember to ask that one.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
Stands up straight, glides rather than tromps. Yeah, she carries herself well.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
The whole being-a-vampire thing brings with it being generally physically superior to human beings. In shape, no physical disabilities, not a sicky.
...I wonder what the appropriate Latin genus-species business would be for a vampire. I mean, I understand that they wouldn't have one because as far as The World At Large knows, they don't exist, but now I want them to have one. D:
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Ridiculously graceful. If she wasn't doing the whole socialite-slash-supernatural-detective (ahahahaha) thing, she could probably toss out a catwalk strut so fierce that it made Tyra Banks weep to see it. But she is busy with better uses of her time, and so she just glides through crowds like a hot knife through butter. Or something. IT IS LATE, SHUT UP.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
She's pretty much gorgeous--good bone structure, blah-blah-blah-enchanting violet eyes, the ability to pull off striped hair. When she looks at herself in the mirror, all this is sort of a fact to her; she uses it to her advantage, obviously, and one assumes does upkeep on it (or at least the dye job), but it's not something to dwell upon overly. Not at this point, at least.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Pale, as befits an omg!vampire. Excellent skin, presumably, and iirc, she heals easily enough as to avoid any particularly marring scars? I shouldn't do this without any of the books after several months of not reading them. -____-;;;
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Dark, thick, long, and oh yeah, has platinum blonde stripes in it. And yet doesn't look dated at all. What the hell. Anyway, blah blah blah not ugly, and the hair is part of that whole Look.
9. What color are her eyes?
Purple. Normally fairly light, they darken when she's pissed off...or turned on. >>
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Pointy, pointy fangs. Also, the ability to reveal them with the lift of a lip--without looking stupid. This boggles my mind. Seriously, go read a description of Promise raising her upper lip and Cal seeing the tooth in question, then go to the mirror and try to recreate it without looking like an idiot. I THINK IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR MERE HUMANS.
11. What are her chief tension centers?
Around her mouth in particular, I'd say.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
Depends on the occasion--it ranges from silk evening gowns to leatherwear. In general, it's probably gonna be black or some manner of pastel-y purple-grey-whatever, and it's going to be somewhat utilitarian in the sense that it'll be serving a specific purpose. Sometimes the purpose just happens to be, you know, blending in at a soiree. But on the whole, pretty dressy no matter the occasion, and not so utilitarian in the sense that Promise likes nice things and thus, her clothes are pretty damned fancy even while they're serving their purpose.

Yes and yes.
